Parking
Parking is free on site. Event and wedding arrivals are directed by the gate team.
Food & drink
The Keep Tearoom serves hot and cold drinks and light snacks on open days. Picnics are welcome in the grounds.
Dogs
Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds on eligible general-admission days but not inside the Castle. Event rules differ.
Cashless visit
The visitor gate and Tearoom currently take card rather than cash.

01What should I wear?+
Much of the experience is outdoors and woodland paths can become muddy. Dress for the weather and choose practical footwear.
02Can I bring a pushchair?+
Pushchairs can use much of the grounds, but the upper Castle floors are reached by historic stairs and are not suitable for prams.
03Is there an accessible toilet?+
Yes. An accessible toilet is available in the grounds opposite the Castle.
