Most grounds can be explored by wheelchair or pushchair. Only the Castle ground floor is step-free; upper floors require stairs.

Yes. Picnic benches are available near the Keep and there are plenty of places around the grounds to stop.
The Tapestry Room on the ground floor has ramped access. The upper Castle floors require external and spiral stairs, so they are not wheelchair or pram accessible.
